This project is about creating a luxury brand while exploring how to bring social sustainability into society. It examines the connection between these two ideas and aims to create a product that goes beyond its material value. We also need to define who the beneficiary, user, and customer are, as well as understand the relationships between them.
Through our online platform, customers can choose to donate an amount to our beneficiary group. A prototype website illustrates how this process works. Instead of sending raw materials like wooden sticks directly to refugee camps, we partner with NGOs and intermediary organizations to transform these donations into essential resources tailored to the refugees’ needs.
This concept is rooted in the idea of “giving.” When users purchase our product, they see an incomplete table in their home, a constant reminder of their connection with the refugee community.
Each time they use it, they experience a strong sense of solidarity, knowing they are standing with those in need.
Looking ahead, we envision the sticks evolving into creative, multifunctional objects that not only serve practical purposes but also bring moments of joy to those in refugee camps.

Brand Story
Our furniture is more than just functional, it carries meaning, purpose, and a deeper connection between people. Inspired by the natural mineral Pyrite, in which stone and mineral grow alongside in perfect harmony, our design embodies the idea of symbiosis, a relationship where both sides thrive together
Symbiosis.
Giving.
The poor quality of initial accommodation was seen to impact negatively on mental health, and on opportunities for integration.
Standardised living spaces do not allow personalisation, hindering autonomy and personal agency
Refugees turn to re-purposing CRI equipment into objects that fulfill more social needs.

The idea of modular sticks in coming from the traditional chinese woodwork skill, it doesn't need any screw or metal support, only the structure to hold it together.
